With Ellen Ryan

**In Partnership with the National Museum of Ireland**

****Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Please book 1 ticket per person attending.****

In her award-winning and beautifully illustrated books,**Gods Don’t Cry** and **Girls Who Slay Monsters**(HarperCollins Children’s)**,** author ****Ellen Ryan**** brings the adventure and magic of Irish mythology to life in new ways. For this one-of-a-kind event with the National Museum of Ireland, join Ellen as she takes the stories further, linking them with real-life artefacts from our ancient past. This interactive and immersive family experience will include a reading, ‘Which God Are You’ quiz, and Halloween fortune-telling game.

Please note we may be capturing candid imagery at this event for use on our social media and website.

****Ellen Ryan**** is a journalist and contributor to the **Irish Times** and **Irish Independent**. She has a passion for Irish myth and loves to visit archaeological sites (though she always brings a raincoat). Along with her husband and daughter, Ellen is lucky to live by the sea in Co. Wicklow, where she can keep an eye out for sea gods.
