DESCRIPTION:A comedy night where the audience can vote off acts they don’t like. Acts attempt to complete a 5 minute set without being booed or Gong off\n\n\nIn Stitches Comedy – The Gong Show at Peadar Kearney’s Cellar\n \nThe Gong Gong Show is a unique experience in which the comics are competing against the clock and the patience of the audience. The more the audience laughs\, the more time on stage the comic has – but if you fail to deliver\, get ready for the gong! \nThe way the show works is three random people from the audience are picked as our judges for the night and will be handed a paddle. Each comedian has to last 5 minutes on our stage and will be given a 2-minute grace period. After the 2 minutes\, the judges will raise their paddle to vote off a comedian if they don’t like the comedian on stage. \nThe winner of the night will enter into the Grand Final of the Gong Show with a chance to win 150euros. \nFee: €10 \nDrink Deals: €6 All pint & Glasses of Wine \nIn Stitches Comedy Lineup for the this show is: \nHosted by one of our resident compère: \n– Emman Idama \nEmman is a strong name in the Irish Comedy scene\, nominated for Irish Comedian Of The Year 2020 & 2021\, Chortle Finalist 2019\, and many other more awards\, he has opened for some of the biggest names in comedy and sports like Seann Walsh\, Eric Cantona and more. \n‘Emman Idama is a more effervescent source of energy\, just the thing to keep the spirits up. Idama establishes himself as a warm\, charming and thoroughly engaging performer.‘ – Chortle \n– Craig Moran \nis an Irish Comedian that started doing stand up late in life. He was the funny kid in a family of seven\, he was the class clown in school and was always the funny friend in his circle. All of this prepared him to do stand up comedy when he finally quit his bar management job and pursued his dreams of being a comedian. \nCraig is a regular in all the major comedy clubs in Ireland\, gigging with some of the best acts in the country. On stage he is ridiculous\, silly and has a lot of energy when he tells stories or he gets into a bit.
