No phones\, no notifications\, no pressure to do anything in particular. \nThe welcome event is taking place in a mystery venue near Temple Bar and will only be sent to ticket holders. \nWe’ll have a large upstairs space with light background music and plenty of room to settle in however you feel like. Attendees are encouraged to come alone as we want people to meet others. \nThere’ll be collage materials\, paper\, pens\, magazines\, and drawing supplies available throughout the night. Bring a book if you’ve been meaning to read. Start a collage. Draw. Journal. Meet someone new. Come with friends or come on your own. \nYou’re welcome to chat with people or keep to yourself. He covered the basics really well\, but also gave us loads of practical guidance on how we could set ourselves up if we wanted to keep going afterwards\, which felt very thoughtfully planned. \nThis must be the place was great space for the workshop. It was great craic from start to finish and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Try something very different and meet new people.\n\n\nStorytelling event in Dublin city center! \nDublin Storytime is an intimate storytelling night full of connection\, laughs and craic\, \nIt’s sort of like an open mic night but without the music\, share anything to a room full of strangers and meet new people. \nRelax and unwind and hear some tales from our hosts and if you feel brave enough\, stand up and tell us something! \nWe encourage audience members to take part in this event but there is absolutely no pressure. \nWe also have a very friendly crowd who love first time speakers. On the night you can submit your interest to tell a story by putting your name in the hat \nDoors open half an hour before the event starts. \nTHE RULES. \n*Audience members can put their names in the hat to tell a story or can choose to tell in advance \n*We will randomly select names from the hat to speak \n*Each speaker has up to 8 minutes to tell a story. \n \nDO SOMETHING DIFFERENT \n \nDublin Storytime has been running for 5 years from 2018 in different venues across Dublin. \n \nPlease note that unfortunately this venue is not wheelchair accessible.
