SUMMARY:Press Play: Jessie Ware 'What's Your Pleasure?'
DESCRIPTION:Join us midweek on the dancefloor for an evening of lush arrangements\, sonic velvet\, and shimmering ’80s-inspired production\n\n\nFor the next chapter of Press Play\, Shrem turns his focus to “What’s Your Pleasure?” – Jessie Ware’s 2020 modern disco classic. \nJoin us midweek on the dancefloor for an evening of lush arrangements\, sonic velvet\, and shimmering ’80s-inspired production\, all orbiting Ware’s magnum opus – the pandemic-era disco odyssey that became everyone’s escape. \nReleased at the height of the COVID-era haze\, Ware’s fourth studio album quickly transformed into a haven of pure escapism: opulent production\, anthemic choruses\, and a seemingly endless run of standout singles\, all delivering a much-needed surge of joy. The exhilarating 12-track record marked a triumphant return to her club roots\, earning her the biggest chart success and most widespread critical acclaim of her career to date. \nFrom the radiant “Spotlight” and the Prince-tinged groove of “Ooh La La” to the luxurious\, string-soaked “Step Into My Life” and the transcendent\, Minnie Riperton-inspired “Remember Where You Are\,” this is a truly all-killer\, no-filler journey. \nExperience “What’s Your Pleasure?” in full\, exactly as intended – played loud\, rich\, and immersive on the HiFi Hatchett Sound System. This is a front-to-back vinyl listening session designed to pull you deep inside the record. \nThe night also features a special two-part\, hand-curated vinyl set created exclusively for the occasion: a vibrant blend of bonus tracks from the “Platinum Pleasure Edition”\, alongside hit singles\, deep cuts\, and remixes spanning Ware’s full catalogue – including highlights from her freshly released “Superbloom”. Expect rarities and iconic collaborations woven throughout for a comprehensive and celebratory journey through the work of a bona fide modern soul-disco diva. \nWith just 40 tickets available – and nine of the last ten listening parties selling out – this intimate event is a rare\, one-off celebration of a modern classic and the artist behind it.

SUMMARY:Legends\, Ghosts and Ghouls of Dublin | Walking Tour
DESCRIPTION:Experience Dublin’s mysterious legends and myths on this 90 minute walking tour.\n\n\nLegends\, Ghosts\, and Ghouls!\n \nIreland has a unique relationship with its legendary past. Kept alive in the histories of the Filí and the Seanchaidhe\, Ireland’s gods were not destroyed but – in the words of Mark Williams – demoted to lesser beings. This is an important element of Ireland’s oral histories\, which in turn have coloured its popular histories and left many legends for us to parse over today. \nOn the other side of Irish history we have the ballrooms\, the salons\, and the private studies of Dublin’s litterati. The seances and unwrapping parties\, the mysteries and the macabre\, all combining into the secret esoteric orders that strove to unlock the secrets of existence. \nCome explore with us where these two elements fuse to create the wonderful world of Legends\, Ghosts\, and Ghouls that are just as much a part of Dublin’s history as any of its citizens and buildings… \nOur tour has over 100 excellent reviews online and is ranked in the top tours on Trip Advisor. \nTOPICS \n\nMaud Gonne & WB Yeats\nThe Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn\nHuguenot Cemetery\nThe Ghost of the Shelbourne\nSt. Stephen’s Green’s Grizzly History\nBram Stoker\nGraverobbers\nDarkey Kelly\nDublin’s House of Horrors\nTenements\nJustice in Dublin\n\nPRIVATE TOURS \nWe are also now doing private tours for groups\, if you want to host your own tour get in touch with us.
