SUMMARY:Legends\, Ghosts and Ghouls of Dublin | Walking Tour
DESCRIPTION:Experience Dublin's mysterious legends and myths on this 90 minute walking tour.\n\n\nLegends\, Ghosts\, and Ghouls!\n \nIreland has a unique relationship with its legendary past. Kept alive in the histories of the Filí and the Seanchaidhe\, Ireland’s gods were not destroyed but – in the words of Mark Williams – demoted to lesser beings. This is an important element of Ireland’s oral histories\, which in turn have coloured its popular histories and left many legends for us to parse over today. \nOn the other side of Irish history we have the ballrooms\, the salons\, and the private studies of Dublin’s litterati. The seances and unwrapping parties\, the mysteries and the macabre\, all combining into the secret esoteric orders that strove to unlock the secrets of existence. \nCome explore with us where these two elements fuse to create the wonderful world of Legends\, Ghosts\, and Ghouls that are just as much a part of Dublin’s history as any of its citizens and buildings… \nOur tour has over 100 excellent reviews online and is ranked in the top tours on Trip Advisor. \nTOPICS \n\nMaud Gonne & WB Yeats\nThe Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn\nHuguenot Cemetery\nThe Ghost of the Shelbourne\nSt. Stephen’s Green’s Grizzly History\nBram Stoker\nGraverobbers\nDarkey Kelly\nDublin’s House of Horrors\nTenements\nJustice in Dublin\n\nPRIVATE TOURS \nWe are also now doing private tours for groups\, if you want to host your own tour get in touch with us. We can do tours for friend groups\, work parties\, educational tours or community tours.👬🧑‍🤝‍🧑 \nWHAT ELSE DO WE DO? \nWe host art nights\, pottery\, walking tours\, workshops\, rug tufting and lots of whacky events. Join us for Drink & Draw Ireland’s art party or one of our many experiences.🎨 \nSUPPORT LOCAL \nAfter each tour we will send you a link to each artist featured and also bring you to a gallery where you can support artists by buying prints\, paintings or commission them for work! \nFAQ? \nWhat happens if I’m late? \nWe encourage anyone who is late to still join the tour\, after you get a ticket you will get an email that will have instructions.📩 \nWhat happens if it rains? \nAll tours proceed even if it’s raining\, please bring an umbrella or rain jacket just in case.☔ \nIs this wheelchair accessible? \nUnfortunately parts of the tour is not accessible\, the first location is accessible to everyone. \nWhere does the tour start and end? \nThe tour starts at WB Yeats house and ends at Dublin Castle. \nI can’t attend? Can I get a refund? \nWe need 5 days notice to issue a refund so if you don’t think you can attend please let us know as soon as possible. We are a small independent business and rely on small groups to make these tours possible. \nCan I swap my ticket? \nAgain as a small business our guides rely on these tours to support their livelihood. We cannot swap tickets unless you give us 5 days notice. You can transfer your ticket to another person to attend in your place. \nShould I Tip? \nIf you enjoy it you can tip your guide if you want! Our guides keep all tips from tours so it gives artists and creatives a chance to do something they love.

SUMMARY:Date My Mate Belfast | Powerpoint Night | 21- 35 years
DESCRIPTION:Pitch your mate and help them find true love or sit back and find the love of your life via the romantic medium of powerpoint!\n\n\nHave you got a mate who’s too shy to put themselves out there but definitely ready to meet the love of their life? \nOr maybe… that mate is you? \n \nWelcome to Date My Mate\, a two-hour event where confidence is optional and friendship is mandatory. Instead of awkward small talk\, we’re handing you the clicker. \nParticipants will have up to four minutes to present a PowerPoint pitching their friend to a room full of potential suiters. Think: green flags\, red flags\, fun facts\, embarrassing photos (used lovingly)\, and why this person is an absolute catch. \n \nHow it works: \n\nPurchase a ticket to attend the event\nYou’ll receive a confirmation email with a google form to nominate yourself or a friend (this will be limited to 14 people)\nWe will let you know if you have been picked to present or not (sorry\, we are limited on time\, we can’t give everybody the time!)\nIf choosen to present\, you’ll get four glorious minutes to sell the dream\nThere will be a prize for the best presentation\n\n \nNo pressure. No swiping. Just slides\, laughs\, and maybe… love. \n \nReady to pitch perfection? 💘📈 \n \nCome alone to meet somebody new\, or bring a friend! \n \nWhat should my presentation include? \nShow off your friend in the best light possible. Some pictures\, their hobbies\, what they think is the perfect date. Maybe even some of their unusal habits. Keep it fun and lighthearted and love will follow…! \n \nCan I come alone? \nAbsolutely! Come alone and meet the love of your life or bring a friend to help them meet theirs. \n \nDo I have to pitch? \nNope\, not everybody needs to pitch somebody. We will be selecting a few people to pitch their friends and everybody else can enjoy the presentations! \n \nMy friend can’t make it\, can I still pitch them? \nWe want everybody that is being pitched to attend the event so that they can meet their potential suiters on the night\, so yes they must be in attendance. \n \nDoes everybody need a ticket? \nYes\, everybody that plans to come needs a ticket\, whether presenting\, being presented or just a spectator. \n \nWhat is the age range? \nThis particular event is for those aged 21 to 35 years. \n \nApplications? \nBuying a ticket does not guarantee you will get to present\, there is lots of presentations. \nWe do not accept people bringing presenations on the day or emailing last minute. \n\n\n\n\nDate My Mate Belfast is brought to you by Alternative Experiences.

This weekend you’ve got: \nJohnnie Feel Good: Don’t miss the chance to experience legendary entertainer Johnnie Feelgood live. Fresh from a celebrated Vegas residency\, he brings his full electric charm\, golden voice\, and veteran showmanship to the stage. With seamless glitz\, witty banter\, and a genuine love for performing\, Johnnie creates an unforgettable connection—turning every show into a shared\, euphoric event. A true icon and pure entertainment. ★★★★★ \nMatt Richardson: Matt is a multi-award-winning stand-up and one of the UK’s most exciting rising names. Starting at 18 in 2009\, he became one of the youngest comedians on the circuit — and within years had reached the finals of So You Think You’re Funny and the Chortle Student Comedy Award\, won Newbury and Bath new act competitions\, and placed runner-up at Reading. He’s since played every major UK comedy chain and gigged overseas. Not bad for someone who started before he could legally drink. \nChris Watts: Chris Watts is easy to spot in a crowd — which is useful\, because he’s an albino comedian from Ireland. Far from a gimmick\, Chris uses his unique appearance as a shortcut into sharper\, darker\, and deeply personal material about visibility\, difference\, and why SPF 100 is his best friend. He’s played in many venues & festivals\, and become one of Irish comedy’s most distinctive rising voices — literally and figuratively. He doesn’t just tell “albino jokes.” He tells brilliant jokes that happen to come from an albino. You’ll remember his face. You’ll leave quoting his punchlines. \nGar Murran: A Laughter Lounge Hall of Famer and our longest-serving MC\, Gar Murran doesn’t just warm up crowds—he owns them. With 15+ years of stage domination\, his lethal combo of lightning-fast crowd work\, filthy one-liners\, and nuclear-grade charisma makes every show feel like a riot. Whether he’s roasting hecklers into submission or firing off instant-classic comebacks\, Gar’s the reason our audiences arrive as strangers and leave as accomplices in comedy crime. Book a seat and witness a true Irish comedy legend in his natural habitat. \nLine up of the year? Nah\, line up of the century\, lads! \nFAQS: \nDoors 7pm | Show Starts at 8:30pmFree Bottle of Sol or Glass of Wine before 7:30pmShow Ends at 11pm.
