Despite his obvious depression he is recent winner of a bray gong show and has previously won the inaugural halfpenny inn comedy competition in 2021\, a stitches gong and the Bailey Laughs St Patrick’s day gong show last year. You’ll see him at the major Dublin clubs talking about his bowels and continuing traumas. Over 12 years to the present time he spends his time mastering his craft on stage. He started his comedy career in Ireland. While there\, he managed to feature on Irish television shows such as; RTE1 – “The Year That’s In It” in 2015. On RTE2\, he appeared in “The House of Craic” (writer & star)\, “Laughter In The Eye” – Vodafone Comedy Carnival Galway\, “Electric Picnic”\, “This is Ireland” in 2016 (writer / star) – Des Bishop’s\, and the list goes on. \nIdama eventually got his big break on UK television in 2023. One of Ireland’s most successful comedy event companies\, his comedically experienced\, high energy\, and anecdotal style draws in an audience and brings on the big laughs with ease! \nFollowing in the footsteps of Simon Pegg\, Dylan Moran and Dara Ó Briain – Danny was handpicked in 2016 to perform as part of the iconic ‘Best of The Edinburgh Fest’ Show across Australia touring Perth World Fringe\, Adelaide Fringe Festival and The Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
