Instead of awkward small talk\, we’re handing you the clicker. \nParticipants will have up to four minutes to present a PowerPoint pitching their friend to a room full of potential suiters. Think: green flags\, red flags\, fun facts\, embarrassing photos (used lovingly)\, and why this person is an absolute catch. \n \nHow it works: \n\nPurchase a ticket to attend the event\nYou’ll receive a confirmation email with a google form to nominate yourself or a friend (this will be limited to 14 people)\nWe will let you know if you have been picked to present or not (sorry\, we are limited on time\, we can’t give everybody the time!)\nIf choosen to present\, you’ll get four glorious minutes to sell the dream\nThere will be a prize for the best presentation\n\n \nNo pressure. We will be selecting a few people to pitch their friends and everybody else can enjoy the presentations! \n \nMy friend can’t make it\, can I still pitch them? \nWe want everybody that is being pitched to attend the event so that they can meet their potential suiters on the night\, so yes they must be in attendance. \n \nDoes everybody need a ticket? \nYes\, everybody that plans to come needs a ticket\, whether presenting\, being presented or just a spectator. \n \nWhat is the age range? \nThis particular event is for those aged 21 to 35 years. \n \nApplications? \nBuying a ticket does not guarantee you will get to present\, there is lots of presentations. \nWe do not accept people bringing presenations on the day or emailing last minute. \n \nDate My Mate is brought to you by Alternative Dublin.
