Despite his obvious depression he is recent winner of a bray gong show and has previously won the inaugural halfpenny inn comedy competition in 2021\, a stitches gong and the Bailey Laughs St Patrick’s day gong show last year. You’ll see him at the major Dublin clubs talking about his bowels and continuing traumas. Not to be missed! \nEmman Idama \nNigerian-born Irish comedian Emman Idama has a unique voice and ability to bring the house down. Over 12 years to the present time he spends his time mastering his craft on stage. He started his comedy career in Ireland. While there\, he managed to feature on Irish television shows such as; RTE1 – “The Year That’s In It” in 2015. On RTE2\, he appeared in “The House of Craic” (writer & star)\, “Laughter In The Eye” – Vodafone Comedy Carnival Galway\, “Electric Picnic”\, “This is Ireland” in 2016 (writer / star) – Des Bishop’s\, and the list goes on. \nIdama eventually got his big break on UK television in 2023. Before getting on the UK Comedy circuits he performed at all the comedy club in Ireland and broke into some comedy festival in the country for example Paddy Power Comedy Festival\, Vodafone Comedy Carnival\, Galway Arts Festival\, Longitude and more. \nIn 2019 he enter Chortle Student Comedy competition. All in all he made it to the finals. As a result of that got the opportunity to perform at Latitude festival.
