It was super accessible\, really well structured\, and the fact that it was female-only made it feel especially comfortable and welcoming. \nGibby was a brilliant teacher\, checking in with everyone\, going at our pace\, and explaining things clearly without ever making it feel intimidating. He covered the basics really well\, but also gave us loads of practical guidance on how we could set ourselves up if we wanted to keep going afterwards\, which felt very thoughtfully planned. \nThis must be the place was great space for the workshop. It was great craic from start to finish and I thoroughly enjoyed it. DESCRIPTION:A comedy night where the audience can vote off acts they don’t like. Acts attempt to complete a 5 minute set without being booed or Gong off\n\n\nIn Stitches Comedy – The Gong Show at Peadar Kearney’s Cellar\n \nThe Gong Gong Show is a unique experience in which the comics are competing against the clock and the patience of the audience. The more the audience laughs\, the more time on stage the comic has – but if you fail to deliver\, get ready for the gong! \nThe way the show works is three random people from the audience are picked as our judges for the night and will be handed a paddle. Each comedian has to last 5 minutes on our stage and will be given a 2-minute grace period. Over 12 years to the present time he spend his time mastering his craft on stage. Wille starting his comedy career in Ireland he manage to featured on some Irish television shows. such as on RTE1 – “The Year That’s In It” in 2015 and also on RTE2 with show such as “The House of Craic” (writer & star)\, “Laughter In The Eye” – Vodafone Comedy Carnival Galway\, “Electric Picnic”\, “This is Ireland” in 2016 (writer / star) – Des Bishop’s. \nEmman Idama eventually getting his big break on UK television in 2023 on the third series of Comedy Central Live and the list goes on. Before getting on the UK Comedy circuits he performed at all the comedy club in Ireland and broke into some comedy festival in the country for example Paddy Power Comedy Festival\, Vodafone Comedy Carnival\, Galway Arts Festival\, Longitude and more. \nIn 2019 he enter Chortle Student Comedy competition. All in all he made it to the finals. As a result of that got the opportunity to perform at Latitude festival. All of this prepared him to do stand up comedy when he finally quit his bar management job and pursued his dreams of being a comedian. \nCraig is a regular in all the major comedy clubs in Ireland\, gigging with some of the best acts in the country. On stage he is ridiculous\, silly and has a lot of energy when he tells stories or he gets into a bit. He also hosts weekly Quiz and Bingo events in the city center. \n– Emman Idama \nNigerian-born Irish comedian Emman Idama has a unique voice and ability to bring the house down. Over 12 years to the present time he spend his time mastering his craft on stage. Wille starting his comedy career in Ireland he manage to featured on some Irish television shows. such as on RTE1 – “The Year That’s In It” in 2015 and also on RTE2 with show such as “The House of Craic” (writer & star)\, “Laughter In The Eye” – Vodafone Comedy Carnival Galway\, “Electric Picnic”\, “This is Ireland” in 2016 (writer / star) – Des Bishop’s. \nEmman Idama eventually getting his big break on UK television in 2023 on the third series of Comedy Central Live and the list goes on. Before getting on the UK Comedy circuits he performed at all the comedy club in Ireland and broke into some comedy festival in the country for example Paddy Power Comedy Festival\, Vodafone Comedy Carnival\, Galway Arts Festival\, Longitude and more. \nIn 2019 he enter Chortle Student Comedy competition. All in all he made it to the finals. As a result of that got the opportunity to perform at Latitude festival. Following the finale at the Edinburgh fringe festival Steve Bennett reviewed all the acts and spoke highly of Emman Idama as shown below. \n\n‘Emman Idama is a more effervescent source of energy\, just the thing to keep the spirits up. Idama establishes himself as a warm\, charming and thoroughly engaging performer.’ – Chortle \n\nThat same year he performed in venues such as 3Olympia Theatre Dublin\, Waterfront Hall Belfast\, Aylesbury Waterside England\, The Laughter Lounge Dublin and many more high profile club in Ireland. \nIn due time he worked his way up from open mic nights to his first ever paid spot. Making himself a regular paid act at establish clubs. Performing at establish clubs like The Stand\, Glee\, Monkey Barrel\, The Empire\, Backyard Comedy Club and more in England. Also being a regular headliner in Ireland at clubs like Comedy at The International\, The Crunch Comedy Club and more. \nEventually more opportunity be the opening act for the likes of Jamali Maddix\, Seann Patton\, Seann Walsh and Eric Cantona. Due to a large volume of people arriving at once it usually starts at least 10 minutes after the time of the event. He was the funny kid in a family of seven\, he was the class clown in school and was always the funny friend his circle. All of this prepared him to do stand up comedy when he finally quit his bar management job and pursued his dreams of being a comedian. \nCraig is a regular in all the major comedy clubs in Ireland\, gigging with some of the best acts in the country. On stage he is ridiculous\, silly and has a lot of energy when he tells stories or he gets into a bit. He also hosts weekly Quiz and Bingo events in the city center. \n– Emman Idama \nNigerian-born Irish comedian Emman Idama has a unique voice and ability to bring the house down. Over 12 years to the present time he spend his time mastering his craft on stage. Wille starting his comedy career in Ireland he manage to featured on some Irish television shows. such as on RTE1 – “The Year That’s In It” in 2015 and also on RTE2 with show such as “The House of Craic” (writer & star)\, “Laughter In The Eye” – Vodafone Comedy Carnival Galway\, “Electric Picnic”\, “This is Ireland” in 2016 (writer / star) – Des Bishop’s. \nEmman Idama eventually getting his big break on UK television in 2023 on the third series of Comedy Central Live and the list goes on. Before getting on the UK Comedy circuits he performed at all the comedy club in Ireland and broke into some comedy festival in the country for example Paddy Power Comedy Festival\, Vodafone Comedy Carnival\, Galway Arts Festival\, Longitude and more. \nIn 2019 he enter Chortle Student Comedy competition. All in all he made it to the finals. As a result of that got the opportunity to perform at Latitude festival. Following the finale at the Edinburgh fringe festival Steve Bennett reviewed all the acts and spoke highly of Emman Idama as shown below. \n\n‘Emman Idama is a more effervescent source of energy\, just the thing to keep the spirits up. Idama establishes himself as a warm\, charming and thoroughly engaging performer.’ – Chortle \n\nThat same year he performed in venues such as 3Olympia Theatre Dublin\, Waterfront Hall Belfast\, Aylesbury Waterside England\, The Laughter Lounge Dublin and many more high profile club in Ireland. \nIn due time he worked his way up from open mic nights to his first ever paid spot. Making himself a regular paid act at establish clubs. Performing at establish clubs like The Stand\, Glee\, Monkey Barrel\, The Empire\, Backyard Comedy Club and more in England. Also being a regular headliner in Ireland at clubs like Comedy at The International\, The Crunch Comedy Club and more. \nEventually more opportunity be the opening act for the likes of Jamali Maddix\, Seann Patton\, Seann Walsh and Eric Cantona. Hot press 2020 and 2021 “Comedian of The Year” nomination was another recognition gained to post his profile. \nAt this present time Emman is now a resident host at In Stitches Comedy Club Dublin Ireland.
