## About this tour

### Two day, self-guided electric bike adventure from Kinsale to Clonakilty. Great for a weekend stay - but be sure to book early!

### About

Cycle from Kinsale to Clonakilty along the coastal route of the Wild Atlantic Way on an electric bike. Stay overnight in a country B&B in Clonakilty and cycle back the next day following a GPS guided route through the beautiful Irish countryside. You'll have plenty of time to enjoy the area!

### Day 1

KINSALE TO CLONAKILTY (48km)

We'll meet you in Kinsale and get you set up with electric bike, helmet etc. At the same time, we'll pick up your bags so we can deliver them to your B&B for the night, leaving you free to cycle along the route of the Wild Atlantic Way. On the way to Clonakilty, enjoy the stunning coastal views from the Old Head of Kinsale, Coolmaine Beach and Timoleague Abbey. If history is your thing, you can visit the Michael Collins Centre, just a short cycle off the main route. Stay overnight in a B&B in Clonakilty, where your host will greet you with a warm Irish 'fáilte' or welcome. Why not enjoy a pint of Guinness and find some live Irish music in a local pub that evening?

### Day 2

CLONAKILTY TO KINSALE (53km + 10km optional detour)

After a hearty Irish breakfast at the B&B, you have an optional cycle to Inchadoney Beach (10km roundtrip) or alternatively, spend some time exploring Clonakility. Then, it's time to cycle back to Kinsale, following a pre-programmed route which takes in the best spots - the scenic countryside of the Seven Heads peninsula including dramatic Dunworley Cove. Stop for a delicious lunch in Courtmacsherry (we know a great spot!). Continue cycling through the quaint town of Ballinspittle (another great stop for coffee and baked goods) and past the 'moving statue' in the grotto which caused a national stir in the 80s. We'll meet you in Kinsale, to return your luggage, collect the bikes etc. and enjoy the stories of your adventures!

### Make the trip unique

Optional trip to beautiful Inchadoney Beach. Explore the Seven Heads area, before making your way back to Kinsale via colourful Ballinspittle village.

Choose to:

- Have your bags transferred to/from your B&B.

OR

- Carry what your overnight gear in pannier bags (supplied). We'll store your luggage for you.
