Irelands most South-Westerly point, Mizen head is home to the impressive Mizen Head Bridge and signal station. Originally built in 1907, the Lighthouse station and accompanying bridge were constructed to warn mariners of the treacherous cliffs of the peninsula. The modern day bridge was officially opened in 2011 after the original structure was deemed unsafe and was replaced. So why not join us and take a look at this fabulous feat of engineering!
