## About this tour

**Duration:** 1 hours

Come have some family fun and learn how to paddleboard with our family SUP session. Learn how to get out on the water safely and learn the techniques of paddle boarding. Younger children, may go on their parents board, or change onto their own board as confidence builds throughout the sessions

Our sessions are led by the kids- we break learning down and learn through play. Lots of splashing and building confidence with water games to enjoy.

We are blessed with many beautiful lakes and the Royal Canal here in Westmeath. We can nearly always find a sheltered spot to paddle on. Our Mobile trailer can bring all the equipment to you if you have a special secret lough or location in mind for a celebration or special day out

We provide the SUP, Paddles, wetsuit, wetsuit socks or gloves and buoyancy aid to keep you warm and safe. If you prefer to use your own equipment you are welcome to do so.

### Important to Know

- We also suggest that you check the local weather forecast before hand and dress accordingly.
- Remember to bring some water, a towel or beach robe and a change of warm clothes
- If its wet and you feel the cold a light windproof/ waterproof jacket and woolly hat can be worn over the wetsuit to add extra warmth.
- On sunnier summer days remember the sun cream and a sun hat - go for waterproof cream and apply an hour before so that it soaks in well- can cause you to slip on the board of its not well absorbed.
