The Grand Social Presents: Holy Show + Echogate + Selenite

Holy Show are a 4-piece Dublin based rock band consisting of Emily (vocals & bass), Cathal (guitar), Alex (guitar) and Ben (drums). Taking influences from anywhere within the rock music scene including artists like Deftones, The Smashing Pumpkins, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Jeff buckley, their music is for anyone who likes to head-bang or cry or both simultaneously.

Echo Gate is a dynamic alt-rock band blending styles of emo, post-hardcore, and indie rock into a raw, energetic and emotional sound. Joell Donnellan (vocals/guitar), Tomás O’Niell (guitar), and Diego Donnellan (drums) bring a mix of melody and heaviness, balancing emotion with intensity. Formed by frontman Joell Donnellan in 2023, the band has gained a local following with vibrant and energetic live shows and a unique sound inspired by artists like The Smiths, Sunny Day Real Estate and Descendents.

Selenite is a five-piece band from Dublin. They draw inspiration from various genres such as shoegaze and female-fronted punk. Having played several gigs, they pride themselves on producing an energetic live performance, playing a mix of covers and original songs. Throughout the last year they have gained experience, starting to play locally for small crowds and at school events. More recently, they have played three gigs in the SoundHouse and accumulated a small following. They hope to play more venues in the future. Selenite hope to release an EP this year as they have gotten a great reception to their originals when being played live. Selenite is composed of Cassie (bass guitar), Josh (drums), Millie (guitar), Sara (vocals) and Niamh (guitar).
