Creative Rest: A Community Wellbeing Workshop

Slow down, get creative and take a little time for yourself.

Join Andrea Clare Plunkett (BA MSc) for Creative Rest, a relaxed, in-person wellbeing workshop designed to give you a chance to switch off, get creative and enjoy the process of making something.

Taking place on Monday 21st September from 6–8pm, Andrea will guide you through a gentle creative session in a safe, inclusive and welcoming space.

There’s no creative experience needed and no pressure to make anything perfect. Just come as you are, take things at your own pace and enjoy two hours of creative rest.

Creativity for a good cause

Creative Rest is the first in a series of creative wellbeing events connected to the JC Foundation, delivered as part of a community creativity initiative between The Ink Factory, CCRAS Community Centre and Art Therapy Ireland.

The workshop is also part of the wider fundraising leading up to The Ink Factory’s annual Charity Tattoo Day on October 17th, which celebrates its 10th year this year.

Following this event, Creative Rest continues on Friday 9th October, 7–9pm at PIERCED Camden Studio, hosted by PIERCED, sister brand of The Ink Factory — another chance to slow down, get creative and support the cause.
