Santa’s Magical Village 2026

Description
Santa’s Magical Village returns to The Craft Yard at Castlecomer Discovery Park for Christmas 2026.
This is much more than simply a visit to Santa.
From the moment your family enters Santa’s Magical Village, you’ll begin your own guided Christmas journey through a series of beautifully themed rooms, meeting Santa’s Elves and Mrs Claus and enjoying interactive experiences and surprises along the way.
One of the things that makes Santa’s Magical Village special is that each booking enjoys the experience as its own family or group. Our Elves carefully guide you from one magical experience to the next as the excitement builds towards the highlight of the journey — your own special visit with Santa.
After meeting Santa, every child booked on a Child ticket will visit Santa’s Present Room, where they can choose their own Christmas present to take home.
Each timeslot is designed for one family or group of up to 8 people maximum.
Professional family photography will also be available, giving you the opportunity to capture a special Christmas memory from your visit.
Santa’s Magical Village is located in the historic Craft Yard at Castlecomer Discovery Park, Co. Kilkenny. Before or after your experience, families can explore the Craft Yard, visit its independent shops and studios, or enjoy food and refreshments at Jarrow Café and Tuk Tuk Asian Street Food.
Sensory Day – Thursday 10 December 2026 | 4pm–7pm
Our dedicated Sensory Day offers a calmer, more relaxed way for families to experience the magic of Santa’s Magical Village. With reduced capacity, lower sound levels, gentle lighting and a slower pace throughout, we aim to create a welcoming and supportive environment for children and families who may find the usual Christmas excitement overwhelming. Our patient, understanding team will be on hand to help everyone feel comfortable, with extended 8-minute booking slots allowing more time to enjoy the experience. Families will also receive helpful pre-visit information and our updated 2026 Social Story to prepare for their visit. Places are limited and advance booking is essential.
Important: Any child wishing to choose a present from Santa’s Present Room must have a Child ticket. Santa’s presents are designed for children aged 12 years and under.

How many people can attend in one timeslot?
Each standard timeslot is designed for one family or group of up to 8 people maximum.

Yes. If your group is larger than 8 people, please book back-to-back timeslots.
We strongly recommend that larger parties still travel through Santa’s Magical Village in groups of no more than 8.
