This event takes place in the Creativity Hub in the North Range of IMMA Venues.
The Cloud Kingdom (Little Island) by Máire Zepf is an enchanting collection of interconnecting stories and fables, filled with the fantastical and a love of the craft of storytelling. With Faery people, ghost dragons, a dream-weaving giantess, and more, readers will be whisked away to worlds filled with magic and wonder. Join Máire for a reading, followed by cloud-themed activity!

Máire Zepf has written 16 books for children, from picture books to a YA verse novel. Winner of the KPMG Children’s Books Ireland Book of the Year Award, 5 LAI Children’s Book Awards and 2 international White Ravens among many others, her books appear in 10 languages worldwide. Her ‘Rita’ series of picture books with illustrator Mr. Ando has recently been adapted for television. She is writer and co-creator of the celtic anime series ‘Lí Ban’. The Co. Down author was the first Children’s Writing Fellow for Northern Ireland, based at the Seamus Heaney Centre for Poetry at QUB.
