About this tour

The guided tours below are available for guests of all ages (under 18s must be accompanied by an adult), and are limited to a maximum of 6 guests per tour group. The distances covered will be tailored to the abilities and interests of each group.

• Medieval Historic Sites Experience – Breathe in the history of North Tipperary, wandering around medieval churches and visiting several castles, each with its own stories.

• The Lake Shores – Explore the countryside around the Lough Derg shore, taking in beautiful views of the Lough while visiting less-known beauty spots en route.

• Unravelling Shane MacGowan – Explore some of the sites which so inspired Shane MacGowan during the summers he spent visiting his mother’s family in North Tipperary. Please specify whether you prefer the 3 hour or 4 hour version in the ‘Any requests’ box.
