Calling all children’s writers and illustrators! If you would like to talk about your own work for young audiences with fellow children’s writers and illustrators, swap experiences and ideas, or simply have a social coffee with other Irish based creatives, please do come along. All welcome.

The aim of Discover Irish Children’s Books is to highlight and celebrate Irish children’s books. The Discover team is made up of over twenty Irish and Irish based children’s writers, illustrators, booksellers, teachers, librarians and reviewers. They have a website – www.discoveririshkidsbooks.ie – produce monthly posters featuring new Irish children’s books, and are active on social media @irishkidsbooks

This is a free event. Alternatively, by choosing a donation ticket to any amount, you would be contributing towards keeping DBF events accessible for all.

This is an 18+ event.

This event will take place at the Silk Road Café in the Chester Beatty.
