Join author Erika McGann and illustrator Clive McFarland as they read and draw from their brand new picture book, Nowhere for a Ghost to Sleep (O’Brien Press). With spooky games and fun facts, you’ll learn to draw some of the cute and quirky characters from the book, including your very own sleepy ghost!

Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Please book 1 ticket per person attending.

Clive McFarland was raised in Omagh, County Tyrone and graduated from Liverpool School of Art and Design. He is an author and illustrator of picture books, including A Bed for Bear, Caterpillar Dreams and The Fox and the Wild. He is the illustrator of Standing on One Leg is Hard and What is A Peachick? by Erika McGann. He lives in Northern Ireland.
Erika McGann grew up in Drogheda, Co. Louth, and now lives in Dublin. She is the author of many picture books including Standing on One Leg is Hard and What is A Peachick? (illustrated by Clive McFarland), Where Are You, Puffling?, Wee Donkey’s Treasure Hunt, Cá Bhfuil Puifín Beag?, Puifín Beag agus an Ubh (both translated by Muireann Ní Chíobháin), Puffling and the Egg, It’s Too Dark, Puffling, and Puffling and the Stormy Sea all illustrated by Gerry Daly, The Night-time Cat and the Plump, Grey Mouse, illustrated by Lauren O’Neill, and Tir na nOg illustrated by Conor Busuttil. She is co-author with Tom McCaughren of the award-winning hit picture book Run Home, Little Fox, illustrated by Shannon Bergin. Her children’s novels include the ‘Cass and the Bubble Street Gang’ series, Tabitha Plimtock and the Edge of the World and The Strange World of Barnabus Kwerk.
