Is a Cork Day Tour by Train Right for You?
A Cork day tour by train is ideal if you want to see Blarney Castle, Cork City and Cobh in one go without hiring a car or driving the motorway. You leave from Heuston Station, sit back through the Kildare countryside and past the Curragh, and let your host handle the coach transfers once you arrive at Cork Kent Station.
It is a long and full day, so wear comfortable shoes for Blarney’s grounds and bring a few euro for lunch and a browse in Blarney Village. Leave time at the Cobh Heritage Centre too, home of the Queenstown Titanic Story. If the Titanic connection hooks you, follow this Cork day tour by train with the Titanic and Belfast City Day Tour by Train, which heads north instead of south. Book early in summer.
